Tire Rotation Tips and Tricks!
Every part of your Rolls-Royce is important, but a special mention goes out to the tires. They’re your vehicle’s sole connection point to the road. It’s absolutely vital to keep your tires in their best possible shape. Tire rotation will help you keep your tires healthy.
So, just what does tire rotation entail? It’s true that your tires rotate when you drive, but that’s not the kind of tire rotation we mean. As you may expect, driving wears down your tires. However, although your tires all go to the same place, they don’t all wear in the same way. Your front tires are used for turning, so they wear more on the outer edges. Your rear tires don’t steer, they just follow along, so they wear more evenly. Tires also wear differently depending on if your car is front-, rear-, or all-wheel drive.
Tire rotation is when we change the position of each of your tires on your vehicle, such as switching the front tires with the back ones, or the left tires with the right. Tire rotation helps even out your wear and tear, and it greatly extends the lifespan of your tires. Ideally you should rotate your tires every 5,000 miles.
